Visit these places on a weekend to go winery hopping or just relax and unwind in the wineries that provide accommodations.
Fratelli Vineyards
It is the sole winery located in Akluj and about six-hour drive from Mumbai via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. In the middle of the desert This modern-day winery produces amazing wines, but also offers beautiful rooms for guests to stay in. Fratelli offers a stunning view from the high in their vineyards. Vallonne Vineyards
It is a tiny boutique winery located in Igatpuri near Nasik just a little over an hour prior to getting there. Garware Circle in Nasik. They make excellent wines, and offer four rooms to enjoy your time at. It’s a winery that is committed to taking the pleasure of the outdoors, food and wine seriously. Hence, there’s no TVs or internet access within the room. It’s a great place to unwind and detox not? With a stunning view from the shore, planned outdoor activities, and a great wine to drink during your stay, we’re not sure what’s left.
What to try: They produce an outstanding Malbec and their dessert wine, Vin de Passerillage, is without doubt one of the finest available in India. Another great mix is Rose and Reserve Merlot.
Grover Zampa Vineyards
Just a short distance of Vallonne just a few minutes away is Zampa Vineyards. Although they don’t provide a accommodation, they do offer tastings and tours of the cellar Don’t miss out on those. Go for a stroll through the vineyard’s hills to enjoy amazing views of the region.
What to You Should Try It is the Zampa Chene and Grover’s La Reserve Blanc are two wines that you should purchase.
York Winery
Ahead of Sula next to Sula is York Winery. York has always maintained its quality and is thought of as a leader in the wine industry in India. There is a tasting room with an amazing view over Gangapur Lake, flanked by hills. It is a great idea to spend a relaxing afternoon sipping their award-winning wines while taking in the stunning views that the area has to offer. The Tasting Room York’s in-house restaurant, serves wonderful North Indian and local cuisine in conjunction with their wines.
What to Do:Try the sparkling Rose and the Chenin Blanc which has an oak-like influence, and has revolutionized the way in which wines made from this grape have been produced in India. Try their premium red, Arros It is an absolute treat.
Soma
The resort is situated close to the backwaters of Gangapur Dam, the Soma Winery and Resort offers amazing views. If you’re interested in staying here, there are plenty of options to choose from Rooms or Suites, as well as Villas!
