INTRODUCTION:-

The name “Humpta Pass” is derived from Humpta village. It is situated at an altitude of 14,107 feet in the Himalayan Pin Panjal range and is the route between Lahaul and Kullu or the Manali Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Humpta Pass Trek, the region has rich flora and fauna, but on the other hand, the Lahaul Valley is barren and deserted. So, walk through the quaint villages and explore two different cultures. In ancient times, the trail was a trade route of Hampta pass trek. Thus, it is now often used by shepherds in summer to find grasslands in the uninhabited Lahaul, Spiti valley.

BEST TIMES TO DO HAMPTA PASS TREK:-

Humpta Pass Trek is a very scenic and moderate trek near Manali Valley in Himachal, Humpta Pass. Trek is great for those who are very fond of mountaineering. The best time to undertake this trek is from 5th June to the end of September, especially in the months of June.

The temperature of Humpta Pass trek during day time is approx (05°C to 15°C) and at night the temperature drops down to 03°C to 05°C which is not bad. WINTER SEASON:-

Humpta Pass Trek In winter trek, you will need a lot of warm clothes for which you will need proper good uniform clothing Winters are always cold. So only warm clothes can keep you safe on trek feet. Before going on a trek, always check the company from which you are booking the trek. What we have to bring In the winter.

SUMMER SEASON:-

Humpta pass trek is very special from summer trek,view and temperature are all favorable to you For summer treks you will only need to bring normal clothes to make your trek look good,there is no need for warm clothes,but it is also necessary to bring all the equipment you need for hiking.It is necessary to have 3 pairs of clothes for trekking, especially poncho,must be brought in every season The temperature is always normal during the summer season,so there is no need for warm clothes.

MONSOON SEASON:-

During the monsoon season, it rains occasionally during the Humpta Pass trek, especially in Manali, Spiti Valley. So it’s great if you have dry clothes here, it dries quickly even when wet. At this time you have to bring at least 3 pairs of clothes. For the monsoon trek you do not need to bring much warm clothes, this time you, hiking pants and t-sart. SHORT ITINERARY OF HAMPTA PASS TREK:-DAY 1: Pickup for you from Manali at 10 am Drive to Jobra by taxi (22 km) Same day Trek to Cheeka Camp (03 km) (1/2 hr) (3078 m)

DAY 2:Trek from Cheeka Camp to Balu Ka Gera (08 kms) (4/5 hrs) (3783 m)

DAY 3: Trek from Balu Ka Gera to Humpta Pass (4310 m) to Shia Goru Camp (12 km) (6/7 hrs) (3735 m)

DAY 4: Trek from Shia Goru Camp to Chatur Camp – (05 km) Trek (3/4 hrs) Same day drive Chandratal (4300 m) back to Chatur Camp (156 km) (5/6 hrs).

 DAY 5:Trek from Chatru Camp to Rohtang Pass (4114 m) to Manali (140 km) Arrive at 6 pm.
