If you’re planning on visiting Dubai in the near future, you’ll want to know about the Burj Khalifa ticket so that you can explore the tallest man-made structure in the world and gain access to some of its other incredible features. Here are 10 reasons why you should make this ticket part of your travel plans.
1) The Burj Is Part of Dubai’s History
The Burj is part of Dubai’s history and culture. The Burj is also known as the world’s tallest building, which is quite an impressive feat for any city. Whether you want to see the city from high above or just want a fun family experience, visiting the top of the world’s tallest building will not disappoint.
2) An Observation Deck
It’s 828 meters high, and has 160 floors. It has an observatory deck that gives you a 360 degree view of Dubai. I’d recommend heading up there for some breathtaking views of the city and desert, it was my favorite part of my visit. Tickets cost AED 150 for adults and AED 100 for children aged 4-12 years old.
3) Who Designed the Burj?
Emaar Properties is the developer and owner of Burj Khalifa. They are responsible for designing, constructing, financing, and operating this record-breaking building. Their goal was to create an icon that would represent Dubai as well as attract tourists from around the world. Architect Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) was brought on board in 2003 with his partner Gordon Gill from SOM London. He is most famous for designing the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur and has been working on projects around the world for decades.
4) Why Is the World Tallest Building in Dubai?
It stands at 2,722.5 ft tall and is 828 ft wide. The cost of the tower was $1.5 billion USD and was completed on January 4th 2010. The tower has 160 stories and holds thousands of people every day. But why? First off, it’s the tallest building ever built in a city with no high-rises! Secondly, it’s so cool to walk around such an amazing building because you get great views of Dubai from all angles! Thirdly, if you’re not afraid of heights then I recommend going up to the 124th floor for some even better views!
5) Which UAE National Designed This?
The designer of the building is Adrian Smith and he has been named one of the most influential architects in the world by Time Magazine. There are also many other well-known architects who have contributed their expertise to this project, including Bill Baker, Leslie E. Robertson Associates, Inc., Rossetti Architects & Engineers, and Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP.
6) A Dizzying Observation Deck
Visitors are able to experience Dubai’s skyscraper in the most uniquely stunning way possible. The observation deck offers the highest view in the world, where visitors can see all of Dubai with an unrivaled 360-degree panoramic view. With high-tech interactive exhibits, restaurants, and amazing views of the city, it is not surprising that it is one of Dubai’s must-see attractions.
The Burj Khalifa Observation Deck is open daily from 9:00am until 11:00pm, except for Fridays and public holidays. Tickets cost Dhs 100 for adults and Dhs 70 for children aged five years and older.
7) No Crawling Through Dreaded Elevators!
The best time to visit the tower is at night, when it is lit up. The views are phenomenal and you can see the Dubai skyline in all its glory. There’s also an observatory on the 124th floor of the tower that offers panoramic views of Dubai and beyond, from KSA to Iran. It’s a must-see for any visitor coming to this beautiful city.
8) It’s an Iconic Building!
The first reason to buy a ticket is that the building has been an icon in Dubai for the last ten years and you should be able to see it with your own eyes. The second reason is that you will get to see the world’s tallest man-made structure in all of its glory, which also means it will be one of your most memorable moments. Thirdly, if you want bragging rights then this is where they come from because who knows how long this title will stay at the top? Fourthly, even though there are only 124 floors, each one offers something different and unique so not many people get bored while they are waiting on their ride.
9) The Best Time to Visit the Tower
The best time to visit the tower is during the morning. The weather will be cooler and there won’t be as many people. Make sure you dress comfortably, because it can get really warm inside of the tower.
10) Tips Before You Go For Tour
